Born in 1886, Pinkasovitch began his hazzanic career in 1912 serving congregations in Czernowitz, Roumania and in Vienna. The recordings on this album were put together by Barry Serota of Musique Internationale. Featuring rare selections from the collections of the Benedict Stambler Memorial Archives.
