Notes | Mordecai Hershman was a cantor in Vilna before coming to the United States in 1920. He served as Cantor in Temple Beth-El in Brooklyn and made extensive concert tours of Europe, South America, and Palestine. His singing style has been described as more of a minstrel with a beautiful tenor voice. |
