The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | There is a personal essence to the greatest cantorial music, a quality that marks not only the composition but also the rendition of it as the creation of a unique artist. This character can be preserved only in recordings; even notation cannot supply the highly individual emotional conviction or the personal religious fervor that animate every syllable sung by a great cantor. |
