Notes | Music from all over Israel This Vistas of Israel program presents music from all over Israel. There are 5 selections on today's program: 1) A Song To Begonia is sung by Yafah Yarkoni. The song is a tribute to Israel's oldest kibbutz which is located on the southern end of the Lake of Galilee on the shores of the Jordan River. 2) Ber Sheba, My Town, is sung by Yosef Mustaki and is about this new/old city of the Negev Desert. 3) Sharm el Shech, is the name of a small city at the southern tip of Israel and is also the name of this song sung by Ran Eliran. 4) Daliat el Carmel is a song about the Druiz villages behind Haifa and Mount Carmel and is sung by The Gilboa and Gibatron Quintet (check spelling). 5) Ha Kotel, Song Of The Western Wall , is sung by the Dirom Trio. |
