The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Songs of Israel - Israel Today

Today's Vistas of Israel program has 5 selections sung by different artists and the songs were considered modern as of the time of the broadcast, which dates back over 40 years:

1) A campfire favorite, Chezbat, is sung by Shoshana Damari, who had been a leading singer in Israel for over two decades. It is a song about all the tales and yarns that are sung around a campfire.

2) Yetza Ha'li Mi'Geshon, Walking In The Rain, is sung by Ran Eliran.

3) Mustaki (check spelling) sings Sunset And Sea (no Hebrew title given). He writes his own songs and accompanies himself on his guitar.

4) The Rabbi's Daughter (no Hebrew title given) is sung by Oznat Paz. This is a song about a devout young man and how he handles a rabbi's daughter.

5) The Crazy Moon (no Hebrew title g iven) is song by Elan and Elanete, a husband and wife team.
