The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | Beit-Hagefen - Arab Israel Club in Haifa (narrative only) Beit-Hagefen it an Arab Jewish center established 1963 in Haifa where both Arabs and Jews intermingle and learn more about each other's customs and ways. The mayor of Haifa was fervent about the Club's getting established and was very proud of its accomplishments. The building that houses the organization is tastefully and artistically furnished and its manager, Tzsvi Israel, is interviewed and discusses his day to day operation of the facility. The chairman of the Club's Board of Directors is also interviewed and he discussed budgets, aims, directorial process as well as membership, which at the time of this broadcast was about 2500, divided almost equally between Arabs and Jews. Forty percent of the members are below the age of 18. The Secretary of Beit-Hagefen is interviewed and she discusses the activities that bring both groups together on an almost daily basis for various educational, artistic, sporting ;and social events. |
