The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | Songs from New Israeli Films After the Six Day War, Israeli film production took off with themes on the dangers and problems of the War's results. Along with the films came the songs of which this Vistas of Israel program presents the following 4 selections: 1) GeshAllenby, The Allenby Bridge is a song from the movie The War After The War, a documentary film of the Six Day War and its aftermath and is sung by Yehoram Gaon, one of Israel's top singers of the time. (The Allenby Bridge is the only direct connection to the country of Jordan.) 2:05-4:09 2) The Pursuit from the movie, The War After The War, is sung by Hava Alberstein and is about an officer who chases a terrorist and is seriously wounded and take to the hospital where his girlfriend waits for him to recover. 5:12-7:35 3) Margo Yaldati, My Girl Margo is from the film My Love In Jerusalem which is about a love that has no future between an unhappily married university professor and a young woman, originally from North Africa. The song is sung by Yehoram Gaon. 8:20-10:53 4) Siege is a song from the movie of the same name and is sung by Avi Toledano. It is the story of a widow who falls is love with a tractor driver killed in battle and her struggle with life and its "siege" over her. 11:50-13:57 |
