The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | Israeli Cities in Music What differentiates Israeli cities from one another is age. For example, Jerusalem is over 3000 years old and Tel Aviv is only 50 years old at the time of this Vistas of Israel program, which is a musical tour of 5 of Israel's cities. Unfortunately, none of the songs are given Hebrew titles and none of the various musicians are named. 1) Arise, Zion; Arise, Jerusalem is a Biblical phrase and the song is sung by a male group. 1:56-4:02 2) Tel Aviv means The Hill Of Spring and this untitled song represents the city's early days. It is sung by an unnamed male singer. 4:25-5:30 3) Haifa is a port city north of Tel Aviv and is built up the hills from the Mediterranean Sea. The Song Of The Lighthouse tells about the lighthouse atop Mount Carmel that beckons to the world and the song is sung by an unnamed male and female duo. 5:31-8:49 4) Beersheba is in the heart of the Negev desert. By Swift Train Rails tells the story of trains going past camel caravans and is sung by an unnamed male group. 9:26-11:39 5) Elat is a port city on the Red Sea at the southern tip of the Negev and this last song is about this city.
