Notes Songs of Israel - A Taste of Honey

The Bible mentions some 19 times that the Land of Israel is flowing with "milk and honey". What is interesting is that the honey referred to is not that of bees but of figs. There are 4 selections on this Vistas of Israel program:

1) Vash , no English translation, is sung by the Parvarim. 1:44-3:41

2) Nehama Hendel sings a song about the Platt, Tigris & Euphrates rivers and is a allegory about "being between the devil and the deep blue sea". 4:32-7:18

3) The Central Command Variety Ensemble sings a song about the supply of milk and honey. "If we don't get it today, we'll get it tomorrow". 8:10-11:26

4) The Beetles sing "A Taste Of Honey". 11:50-13:29
