The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes A Feature Program on Ilan - An Organization for Handicapped Children (narrative only)

Ilan, Israel's foundation for handicapped children, is based in Jerusalem, where the organization has a house to train these children to use their capabilities to the highest. Most of the children suffered from polio, which was not under the control as it is now. The children's trainer on today's Vistas of Israel program was a victim of polio herself and still walks with a slight limp, but was able to overcome most of the effects of the disease. Other instructors and professors are interviewed discussing their duties and their influence on the children. There are special classes for those with cerebral palsy who, it is hoped, will be able to have productive lives.
