The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Spring is a joyful time of year; the trees are in leaf and the planting is beginning in the Land of Israel. The music is joyful and this Vistas of Israel concentrates on those songs that center around Jewish Holidays such as Purim, L'ag B'omer, Passover, and Chanukah. There are 5 selections on this program:

1) An unnamed instrumental piece. 1:03-2:50

2) An unnamed joyful song sung by an unnamed choral group. “K’ shoshana Ben Ha`Kotzim, Ken Rayaty Beyn Ha`Banot”. 3:39-5:36

3) Shir HaYayin, The Song Of Wine, is sung by Geula Gil. 5:45-8:03

4) An untitled melody is sung by Geula Gil and is a song about a Persian wedding. 9:18-11:57

5) A Hassidic song is sung by an unnamed male singer. 12:38-13:42
