The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Music of Israel/Songs of Songs

The Song of Songs is the only book of the Bible that lacks a religious or national theme. The actual theme is "human love". Today's Vistas of Israel program brings songs from this ancient book of love and poetry. There are 4 selections on this recording:

1) Ebahtini Ahoty Kala , (no English title), is sung by Shoshana Damari. 1:44-4:43

2) Hayoshevet Ba`Ganim,She Who Sits In The Garden, is sung by the Karmon Singers. 5:10-6:52

3) El Ginat Egoz, (no English title), is sung by the HaParvarim Israel's top folk singing trio. 7:06-9:30
