The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Music of Israel/Yemenite Singers

Two Israeli singers of Yemenite origin are featured in today's Vistas of Israel program. One is Itimar Korian (check spelling) and the other is Shoshana Domari. There are 4 selections on this program:

1) Nadam Kol Tzipor, The Birds Became Silent, is sung by Itamar Cohen. 1:37-4:59

2) Any Mi`Tzfat, I Am A Girl From Safit, is sung by Shoshana Damari. 5:53-9:00

3) Rachel, is a love song about Rachel and is sung by Itamar Cohen. 9:10-12:17

4) Eretz Chalav U`Dvash, The Land Of Milk And Honey is sung by Shoshana Damari. 12:46-13:54
