Notes Songs of Israel - Voices in Harmony/Ron & Nama

The duo of Ron & Nama first met during their service in the Israeli army when both were doing their national service. Within a relatively short time they became the most popular of the singers of traditional Hebrew folk songs. On this Vistas of Israel program the duo sings 2 selections together and each partner sings 1 song individually:

0:55 - 1:45 1) E'ten Ha'midbar, And I Will Give In The Wilderness, is a song about the pioneers who changed the desert to fertile fields where flowers now could bloom and is sung by the duo. 2:02 - 3:53

2) Ya'feh Nov, Beautiful View, is sung by Nama a/k/a Nehama Hendel. 4:15 - 7:15

3) Havanetze Bn'machol, Let's Dance, is a Hora and is sung by Ron a/k/a Ron Eliron. 7:40 - 10:16

4) Simona Mi'demona, Simona (a young girl), from Demona, is sung by the duo. 10:50 - 12:39
