The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

This Vistas of Israel program highlights the physical extremities of the Country, today concentrating on the northern Galil . The area happens to be an archeologist's paradise with new finds coming up continuously. The pioneers have also turned swampland into fine agricultural land with has brought heavier population, industry and commercial enterprise. There are 3 selections on today's program:

1) Ha'roev Ba'Gallil, The Shepherd In Galilee, is an instrumental by The Kol Yisrael Orchestra conducted by Moshe Wilensky. 1:53 - 4:49
