The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Today's Vistas of Israel program deals with Israel's land and its varied differences including valleys, mountains, lush fertile areas and deserts, salt and fresh water. There are 3 selections on this program: 1) Ga'melit, Caravan, is a song about a camel-train complete with a beating drum and is sung by an unnamed female singer. 2:26 - 6:02

2) Lila Bithnan, Canaan Night, is sung by Shulamit Livnat. 6:23 - 9:20

3) Shir Aviv, Song Of Spring, is sung by Natana Davrat accompanied by the Kol Yisrael Orchestra, and is a song about the blooming of trees and flowers indicating the coming of spring. 9:51 - 11:36
