The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Today's Vistas of Israel pays homage to trees and flowers of Israel and to the country's pioneers, who cultivated the land and made it bloom. There are 3 selections on this program:

1) El Ha'kramim, To The Vineyards, is a song of merriment and is sung by Shuhamit Livnat with the Ha'ron Ha'carmel Ensemble. 1:28 - 4:18

2) Shir Ha'eshkol, The Song Of The Grape Cluster is sung by Yaffa Yarkoni and is derived from the biblical tale of the arrival to the promised land by Moses' being told by his spies who brought back clusters of grapes indicating the fertility of the land. 5:03 - 5:47

3) Ha'nitzah Nim, The Blossoms, is sung by Rimo Sansonoff accompanied by the Kol Yisrael Orchestra and is taken from The Song Of Songs. 7:07 - 11:39
