Notes | Folk Songs Of Israel Today's Vistas of Israel program has as its stars, Martha Shlamme and Natana Davrat. Ms. Shlamme has a world-wide reputation and has most recently sung at an Israeli nightclub. Ms. Davrat was born on the Russian/Polish border and settled in Israel in 1948. She was a leading singer of Israel's National Opera Company and since then she became well-known on the international scene. There are 4 selections on this recording: 1) B'eir Ba'sader, A Well In The Field, is sung by Ms. Shlamme.
