Today's program pays homage to the trees and flowers of Israel. There are 3 selections:

1) El Hak’ramim, To The Vineyards, is a song of merriment sung by the grape pickers. This piece was sung by Shulamit Livnat with the Ron HaKarmel Ensemble. 1:30 - 4:18

2) Shir Ha'eshkol, The Song Of The Grape Cluster, is sung by Yaffa Yarkoni. This is a song based on the biblical story of Moses sending 2 spies into Canaan while the Jews had been wandering in the desert for forty years. The spies returned with clusters of grapes indicating the fruitfulness of the land. 5:04 - 6:48

3)Ha'nitzanim, The Blossoms, is sung by Rimo Sonsonoff accompanied by the Kol Yisrael Orchestra. This is derived from The Song Of Songs. 7:07 - 11:32
