The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Second International Bible Contest

Today's Vistas of Israel broadcast was aired by Kol Yisrael from the National Convention Center in Jerusalem. The Second International Bible Contest is the subject of the program and was performed in front of 3000 spectators as well as over radio throughout the country of Israel. The language is Hebrew but it is translated into other languages including English. There are 18 contestants representing 18 countries including Israel and the USA. Questions are asked and answers are given by the contestants who receive points based on those answers. The winners were Israel, Brazil and the USA in that order.
