Notes Arab Education In Israel

This program centers around education in the area of Nazareth through the Arab educator, Raol Ahmed Zubi, who heads 40 schools with about 300 teachers, and is in charge of one of Israel's three education districts. A discussion continues about the progress of the Arab population, and the growth of education, with many Arab students graduating and becoming teachers. Also discussed are the continuing growth of co-ed schools and the issue of job-seeking females as a result.

Recordings restricted by copyright will only play 45 seconds to give you a sense of what that recording originally sounded like. These recordings can be identified by the words (Research Station) in the music player.
