The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

The Israel Song Festival is sponsored by the Kol Israel Orchestra and The Independence Day Committee. Its popularity is constant, and expectations are high that this will definitely be an annual event, especially since the winners of the First Song Festival continued to be held in high esteem. There are 6 selections on this recording:

1) Erev Ba, Evening Has Come, was written by Ariel Levenon and was last year's winner. 1:47 - 2:19

2) Sa-eyni Imcha Ba-machol, Carry Me With You In The Dance, by Tz�vi Avni. 4:00 - 4:56
