Notes Song Of Songs: Naomi Tzsuri

The Song Of Songs, from the Bible, is over 3000 years old but its poetry is still relevant today. The Song Of Songs is as familiar to Israelis as the folk songs of Ireland would be to the Irish. And now those ancient words are being put to music by today's Israeli musicians and composers. All three songs in this broadcast sung by Naomi Tzsuri, accompanied by the Kol Yisraeli Orchestra.

1) Dodi Li(My Beloved Is Mine). 5:11 - 6:45

2) Ana Halach Dodech (Where Has Your Beloved Gone?). 8:31 - 10:20

3) El Ginat Egoz(To The Nut-Garden). 11:07 - 12:50

Recordings restricted by copyright will only play 45 seconds to give you a sense of what that recording originally sounded like. These recordings can be identified by the words (Research Station) in the music player.
