The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Interview with Karl Katz: Director of the B’tzalel National Museum in Jerusalem

Boris Joh interviews Dr. Karl Katz, Director of the B’tzalel National Museum in Jerusalem. The Museum has both apermanent collection and temporary exhibits. It also puts together traveling shows for Kibbutzim, farm areas, and army camps.

Funded by the Israeli government, private donations, and American foundations, the museum's most popular exhibits feature the fine arts, paintings, and graphic arts.

Exhibitions are typically relatively small. Due to space limitations only about 3% of the collection can be shown at any one time. Plans for expansion to other cities are discussed.
