Notes Music Of Israel: A Journey Of Song Through The Land

Israel may be a small country, but it can boast a beautiful and varied topography. From the desert to lush fields, from the ancient to the modern, and from mountains to valleys . . . all of this is Israel. This program is a musical journey through the country from North to South:

1) Aley Givah (On the Hill) sung by Esther Reichstat. 2:06 - 3:37

2) Untitled song, sung by an unnamed group of male singers. 4:20 - 5:55

3) Shir Emek (The Song Of The Valley) sung by The Sarid Trio. 6:25 - 8:18

4) Bam Selon Ir'Bersheva (The Railroad To Bersheva). 9:45 - 11:32

5) Hey Daroma (To the South). 11:58 - 13:45
