The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Israeli Song Festival 1965

The Israeli Song Festival of 1965 was held at the Convention Center in Jerusalem. The opening music was played by the Israel Broadcasting Service Light Orchestra conducted by Moishe Vilensky. The program begins with a medley of the last year's winners. 0:53 - 2:51

2) Y�fey Nof (Beautiful View), sung by Nehama Hendel, who accompanies herself on the guitar. 6:00 - 8:42

4) Ayela Tachen, sung by Arik Einstein. This song was determined to be the first prize winnerand its writer received a prize of 1500 Israel Pounds. 11:54 - 13:15
