The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Folk Music of Israel: Hannah Messinger and Yisrael Yitzhaki

Hannah Messinger served in the Israeli Navy and Army. She won several folk singing contests. Yisrael Yitzhaki is an actor, composer, lyricist, band leader, as well as a singer.

1) Chemdati (Take a Chance, My Darling, and Dance With Me) was composed by Amitai Ne’eman and is sung by Hannah Messinger. 1:32 - 2:42
