The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Produced in 1979, this album contains two recordings that commemorate the murder of 24 prominent Jewish poets, writers and intellectual public figures in the USSR on August 12, 1952. The first recording, August 12, 1952: The Night of the Murdered Poets (1978) is narrated by Eli Wallach with music composed by Morris Moshe Cotel; the second is Cotel's Piano Sonata (1976).
