The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Cantor Moshe Koussevitsky became one of the most celebrated Cantors of his day not only because of his extraordinary dramatic lyric tenor voice but also because of his emotional warmth and enthusiasm which infused all that he sang. This album includes his famous composition, Shaybone Bies Hamikdoch, along with a new rendition of the prayer. Of special interest is the composition Akavyoh Ben Mahalaleil where the Cantor harmonizes with himself.
