The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | The Lachan Jewish Chamber Choir, directed by Cantor Benjamin Z. Maissner, has recorded a collection of songs that showcase the many aspects of Jewish identity. There is L'cha Dodi which is dedicated to the Abayudaya Jews of Uganda; Rozhinkes Mit Mandlen, a beloved Ashkenasic lullaby; Cuando El Rey Nimrod, a Sephardic song cherished by the Jews of Spain and Morocco; and Eili Eili, an intensely moving poem of praise for the beauties on earth and in the universe. The final song, Hallelujah, gives thanks to G-d for all His blessings. |
