Notes Songs of Israel - My Jerusalem

My Jerusalem was the name of a concert performed at the Hahn Theater in Jerusalem. Donnie Galut was the young star of the show. There are 4 selections on today's Vistas of Israel program:

1) The Romancero is sung by Donnie Galut and is based on a song sung by Spanish Jews in Israel.

2) The Jerusalem Of Yesterday is sung by Morty Fleisher.

3) Song To The Landlady is sung by Donnie Galut and Shirl Suzin. It is a song between college students in Jerusalem. He tells the young lady that he will sing to her below her window at 10PM that evening. She tells him not to wake the landlady!!

4) Yerushlayim Shalee, My Jerusalem, is sung by the Ensemble.
