The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes Education in the Army (narrative only)

In the State of Israel all males and most females are inducted at age 18 into the armed services. The Education Department of the Israel Defense Force has the obligation to educate these young inductees not only in text learning but also moral learning as well as in the capacity to fight, according to Col. Morachai Bar'on, the Chief Army Education Officer. The Education Department is divided into 3 branches: Schooling; Instruction and Information; Entertainment. Members of these 3 branches discuss the workings of the 3 groups and explain their functioning.
