The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.

Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

Notes The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra: 25th Anniversary Tour

Abraham Chasins, an acclaimed composer, author and pianist, is the music director of WQXR, a radio station owned by the N.Y. Times. Samuel Rubin represents the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, under whose auspices the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra is visiting the United States. The conversation between these two men covers the history of the Orchestra, its leaders and its current world tour, which includes the U.S. Also discussed are the musical cultures of Israel with its mixed ethnic make-up.
