The Recorded Sound Archives (RSA) is a unit of FAU Libraries Special Collections department. We are located in the Wimberly Library on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Originally established in 2002 as a small project dedicated to the preservation of recorded Jewish music, it has matured into a robust digitization operation for all types of sound recordings.

| Notes | Of the 14 selections on this album all but one are texts of established sacred poems traditionally sung at the Sabbath table, while the other is a passage from the Sabbath liturgy. Since their melodies have been derived from the folk music of the countries in which they were sung they can range in character from Arabic chants through Russian and Polish airs to tunes from Provencal. |
