Notes This music expresses an overall emotion covering everything the Jews have built as a people, an emotion using every shade and meaning of love - love of family, love of one's people, and a belief in an ultimate destiny. Songs of love, of parting, of bereavement are more intense and more sincere for all that unique centuries-old background. Here is a rich musical experience, which we accept gratefully as it comes to us in the art of Sidor Belarsky. Understanding, sympathy and musical knowledge are all here.
