Translation

I love that the Lord hears my voice, my supplications.
He has always inclined His ear to hear me; therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. Pains of death encircled me; the agony of the grave seized me; I was in distress and sorrow.
But I called upon the Name of the Lord: “Please, O Lord, save my life!”
Gracious is the Lord and righteous; our God is merciful.
The Lord protects the simple beings; when I was brought down low, He saved me.
Be again at rest, my soul, for the Lord has dealt kindly with me.
Thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling. I shall walk before the Lord in the world of the living.
I have kept my faith in the Lord even as I cried out: “I am greatly afflicted.”
I have faith even when I declare in haste: “All mankind are deceitful.”
